Two of the kindest souls. The most thoughtful, handcrafted details. These two are the epitome of love, grace and kindness. As they met while sailing, a passion for both of them, they knew the Detroit Yacht Club was the perfect place to officially unite in love. The DYC served as a fittingly beautiful and romantic backdrop for Laura and John to say their "I do's" and host their romantic, springtime wedding.
If I could describe Laura and Johns wedding celebration in just a few words, I would describe it as warm and inviting. The newlyweds put so much thought into every detail of their wedding day to ensure their guests had the best time feasting, dancing and witnessing love in a picturesque setting. Thoughtful handcrafted details included heirloom bibles, old photos of strong and inspiring women from her family, and a Claddagh ring. They planned special desserts for guests, childcare for their friends with young babies, and even included a cappuccino bar that made lattes with the Claddagh on top! The symbol represents love, loyalty, and friendship – three traits that are evident in both Laura, John, and their relationship.
It was a celebration and truly included each and every guest in every aspect of the event as they simply wanted to say thank you to everybody for being in their lives.
With an abundance of colorful details and beautifully curated rentals from Luxe Event Linen, Laura and Johns springtime wedding design came together perfectly. Paired with the beauty of Belle Isles abundant daffodil bloom, lush gardens and blue waters, the day was absolutely magical.
